My dream job would be the owner/manager of a book store with a restaurant attached. I love to read and share my finds with friends. To be paid for what I love to do would be fabulous.

My dream job is to be a small restaurant owner. Ever since I can remember I have loved to cook. Everyone I know tells me that I need to open up my own restaurant. It would be a dream to be able to get the money together to be able to do this. I would have to be able to learn quite a bit about business ownership first. I’m sure being a great cook isn’t enough to keep a business running.

My dream job..
Well, Ive changed my mind several times, but one things has stuck with me through the years. I love reading people, and I love solving mysteries. I spend hours on my lazy days watching 48 hours, CSI, On the Case with Paula Zahn, and numerous other crime and mystery shows. Ive always wanted to be the person who helped find,capture, and put away a ruthless serial killer, while many of the other girls I grew up with dreamed of being teachers, and nurses. This year, I took the step in achieving my dream by starting college.

My dream job is to be a writer, working from home. Actually, I could work from anywhere, which would suit me just fine. Getting paid to write about the places I visit doesn’t sound so bad either; so perhaps travel writing?

Of course, if I could just come up with that one great idea, I would write the Great American Novel. What attracts me most about being a full-time writer is that I’d get to set my own hours and have the freedom to write about what I want. I’m worried about my tendency to procrastinate though, so I’ll keep my “real” job until my first novel is finished. Any plot ideas?

My dream job, right now, is to work for the UN or the ICC. Both international groups do some fantastic work and some not-so-fantastic work. I want to be one of the executives who brings about the best work that benefit the most amount of people. Maybe that makes me an idealist, or maybe I could be just what that kind of organization needs.

Hidden deep inside my laptop is the children’s novel meant to one day open library and bookshop doors. My dream job is to share this not quite real, but most certainly possible small town and its mysteries, with children who love to read.

My dream job would be one that consists of actual physical labor and some office work. I guess I want the best of both worlds. I enjoy the physical aspect of any job because I really do believe that hard work is good for ya. It keeps you in shape and motivated. If I sit at a desk or stay in one spot too long, I tend to get sleepy and slow. The moving around keeps you “alive”. To have some office work, or something slower, to go along with this would provide the break that you would need while, at the same time, getting something done.
My previous job was Assistant Manager at a warehouse. I drove a forklift, ran a scan line and did office work. I guess you could say I’ve already had my dream job. I loved this job. We closed down in April 2009 due to the failing economy. I’m hoping there is another one of these out there for me somewhere.

In the mid-‘80s, I attended several science fiction conventions with presentations by various studio publicists. In the days before the internet and Powerpoint, they gave updates on current movie and television projects complete with slide shows and sometimes behind-the-scenes video and film clips. I thought that would be the coolest job in the world, and I still do. I have gotten close – I worked for the Sci-Fi Channel when it was in development and I was able to attend some science fiction conventions as a presenter. I now work as the Marketing and Public Relations Director for a community theatre, but I still dream of working in the bright lights of Hollywood.

my dream job would be a paranormal investigator. I am fascinated by it.
